Jilin Heart Hospital consistently fulfills its public welfare mission, transforming medical compassion into warm practices that benefit people's livelihoods.
Since its launch in 2017, the Jixin Service Hotline has cumulatively addressed over 200,000 patient inquiries, conveying a steadfast commitment to "ensuring access to medical care" through its services. As the designated hospital for the "Jixin Project" public welfare initiative, Jilin Heart Hospital has provided free treatment to 33,378 individuals over the past 11 years. The youngest recipient was a 13-month-old child. The project covers 34 disease categories for free treatment, encompassing 78 clinical pathways. Additionally, by leveraging online platforms and offline activities to build a science communication matrix, the project has achieved over 10 million exposures in public health education in the past three years.
As a medical institution, Jilin Heart Hospital deeply understands that health is everyone's most valuable asset. On August 5, 2014, the "Jixin Project" public welfare assistance program was officially launched. This initiative is led and supported by government functional departments, coordinated by social welfare and charitable organizations, operated by professional medical institutions, and benefits patients impoverished by illness.
As a beneficial attempt to support the Party and government's targeted poverty alleviation work, the "Jixin Project" is dedicated to providing free medical assistance to impoverished cardiac patients within Jilin Province who suffer from simple cardiac diseases requiring interventional or surgical treatment and are enrolled in the basic urban and rural resident medical insurance. Jilin Heart Hospital, as the designated hospital for the "Jixin Project," provides professional medical support for the program.
Over the past 11 years, as the project has deepened, more and more people have become aware of it, and an increasing number of patients have benefited. The "Jixin Project" has achieved significant results in health poverty alleviation, poverty eradication, and major illness assistance.
Simultaneously, Jilin Heart Hospital, in collaboration with various sectors of society, has consistently dispatched clinically experienced medical experts to numerous villages, towns, communities, and enterprises across Jilin Province. By initiating and participating in various public welfare activities such as free screenings, expert free clinics, telemedicine, and health education, the project enables more people to access professional, convenient, and effective medical services "at their doorstep."
As the project continuously deepened, and based on differences in assisted groups and regions, the "Jixin Project" has established five sub-programs: "Ji Qing · Jixin Project", "Qiao Ai · Jixin Project", "Love in Tonghua · Jixin Project", "99 Heart", and "FAW Hongqi 99 Heart".
Since its establishment, Jilin Heart Hospital has consistently adhered to its original philanthropic intention. With "public science education" as its base, "public welfare rural tours" as its link, "compassionate blood donation" as its responsibility, and "health free clinics" as its bridge, the Jixin team's footprint has covered over 4,000 villages and hamlets across Jilin Province, enabling tens of thousands of people to access international-standard diagnostic and treatment services at their doorstep.
